Construction of Thac Hung village bridge started

On September 19, at Thac Hung village, Cao Bo commune, Dan Tri Newspaper coordinated with local authorities and sponsors to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a bridge across Nam Ma stream. Attending were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Toan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dan Tri Newspaper; Pham Bich Hong, Deputy General Director of Garment 10 Corporation; Dang Ai Xoan, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Mai Ngoc Quynh, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television; leaders of the Department of Construction; Cao Bo commune.

Delegates attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a bridge for people in Thac Hung village, Cao Bo commune.

The project has a total cost of more than 1.2 billion VND, of which the Garment 10 Corporation donated 800 million VND, readers of Dan Tri Newspaper contributed more than 34 million VND, the rest was taken from the newspaper's Charity Fund. The bridge was built with solid reinforced concrete, 22m long, 3.5m wide, 50cm thick concrete, helping people and students in the area travel safely, overcoming the situation of temporary bridges deteriorating after floods. The people's bridge in Thac Hung village not only has traffic value, but is also a symbol of the spirit of solidarity, humanity and aspiration to rise of the people in the highlands, contributing to the economic development of the locality.

Representatives of Dan Tri Newspaper and May 10 Corporation presented the money to support bridge construction for Cao Bo commune.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Toan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dan Tri Newspaper and leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department presented gifts to disadvantaged students in Thac Hung village, Cao Bo commune.

Leaders of Garment Corporation 10 presented gifts to poor households in Thac Hung village, Cao Bo commune.

This is the third bridge sponsored by Dan Tri Newspaper to be built in Tuyen Quang , following many meaningful projects that Dan Tri Newspaper has implemented, including 9 classrooms, schools, boarding houses, kitchens for students in disadvantaged areas, along with 16 Charity houses and activities to support policy families, veterans, and the poor in the province, with a total value of nearly 6 billion VND.

On this occasion, Dan Tri Newspaper awarded 20 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances; Garment Corporation 10 gave 20 gifts including cash, warm blankets and moon cakes to poor households in Thac Hung village.
