Arousing patriotism in women members

Contest entry "Vietnamese Women - Brave, modern, full of aspirations" by Hai Chau Ward Women's Union.

The contest was launched by the City Women’s Union (VWU) on August 12 with the aim of honoring the beauty and role of Da Nang women in expressing patriotism. At the same time, it creates a useful artistic playground, encouraging members to be creative and share authentic and humane perspectives on women.

According to the rules, each ward and commune association in the city selects one most typical photo to participate in the contest. The entries reflect the patriotism of Da Nang women through work, study, family building; preserving and promoting cultural and historical traditions; participating in defending the Fatherland and developing the city.

Immediately after the contest was launched, the association's branches responded enthusiastically and proactively created photos to participate in the contest. By August 17, all 93 wards and communes in the area had selected the best photos of their units and sent them to the Organizing Committee.

The Hai Chau Ward Women's Union is one of the units that invested in costumes and background to create the work "Vietnamese Women - Brave, modern, ambitious" to participate in the contest. The work's background is APEC Park seen from above, with the highlight being the cadres and members forming the number 95 - celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union.

Chairwoman of the Hai Chau Ward Women's Union, Duong Ngoc Phuong, said that with this work, the association wants to affirm that over the past 95 years, generations of Vietnamese women have always carried within them intelligence, enthusiasm and love for the country. Today's generation of women will continue that tradition, always be the keepers of the fire of love, pioneers in innovation, building the homeland with a warm heart and a desire to reach far.

The work "Keeping the fire burning in the rear, sending faith in your footsteps" by the Women's Union of Chien Dan commune participated in the contest.

The photos were posted on the fanpage “Da Nang Women’s Union” continuously from August 24 to September 2, aiming to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere in celebration of the country’s major holiday. The number of interactions (likes, comments, shares) of each photo within 24 hours of posting is one of the criteria for the Organizing Committee to score and award prizes to the units.

Participating in the contest with the work "Keeping the fire burning in the rear, sending faith in your footsteps", after 24 hours of posting, the Women's Union of Chien Dan commune received more than 1,600 interactions.

Chairwoman of the Chien Dan Commune Women's Union Truong Thi My Yen shared: "The work depicts the image of a woman in the moment of seeing her husband off to his mission, becoming a solid rear, taking care of the home, supporting her elderly mother, raising young children, and actively participating in the union movement and social work. It is not only a slice of everyday life, but also a testament to the responsibility, sacrifice and development aspirations of Da Nang women in the era of national development."

Vice President of the City Women's Union Luong Thi Dao - Head of the contest's Jury, acknowledged that through the implementation process, the participating associations were very enthusiastic and eager. In particular, many associations invested very carefully in the setting, costumes, photo quality and message content.

More importantly, despite the recent merger of Da Nang and Quang Nam , the contest has attracted the participation of a large number of cadres and members from the mountains, coastal areas to the plains. At the same time, it has spread the spirit of patriotism and national pride of generations of Da Nang women to the social community.
