With the desire to convey his love for his homeland and let tourists explore the natural beauty, culture, cuisine and people of the West, Mr. Nguyen Lam Vinh Huy - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Somo Farm Cuu Long, a son of Mang Thit hometown, chose the path of entrepreneurship by starting to build an ecological experience farm.

According to Mr. Huy, this is the choice of many tourists, to "escape" the hustle and bustle of city life and find moments of relaxation and peace in the countryside. Officially welcoming guests from September 2022, the farm has a total area of 9 hectares, of which 6 hectares are for the garden and 3 hectares for building services for guests to stay, restaurants, and cafes.

Besides, visitors can also make their own handicrafts such as pottery, weaving mats, weaving baskets or learning to cook traditional Southern dishes.

Sitting on a sampan, drifting along the coconut-shaded river, visitors can also visit fruit-laden orchards, immerse themselves in the natural river and have the opportunity to learn more about the simple, honest beauty of the people of the West. Not only that, in a fresh and peaceful space, the farm also serves visitors to enjoy dishes in the direction of "homegrown".

Among the experiences at the farm, a visit to the “Kingdom of Red Ceramics” where thousands of brick and ceramic kilns are built close together is a must. Inspired by the “Contemporary Heritage” of Mang Thit bricks and ceramics, the farm built a brick kiln model right on the farm so that visitors can learn and take souvenir photos.

Each room is also decorated with red ceramics and delicately named with the mark of the countryside. Every corner of the garden, every decoration is carefully considered to preserve the most authentic things, showing the unique characteristics of Mang Thit.

As a pioneer model of green eco-tourism, Binh Minh Ecolodge Riverside Resort (My Hoa commune, Binh Minh town) was put into operation with an area of 4,000m2. During the exploitation and construction process, it still retains the natural terrain with canals, fish ponds, fruit trees and local plants.
