(Baoquangngai.vn)- According to the announcement from Hoa Phat Group, this enterprise will invite and organize to welcome 800 investors who registered to visit Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Complex. This number is 3 times higher than expected.

In the program of visiting Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Complex, investors are designed a tour by car to go around the project, through the main points in the closed steel production cycle such as Iron Smelting Plant, HRC Steel Production Plant, blast furnace area, Coking Plant, seaport.

Investors will witness the completion of Hoa Phat Dung Quat 1 Iron and Steel Complex and the construction process of Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Iron and Steel Complex; machinery lines are being urgently installed to be ready for operation in late 2024 and early 2025.

Hoa Phat Dung Quat 1 Iron and Steel Complex has a designed capacity of 6 million tons/year, with a total investment of about 86 trillion VND, including 3 million tons of construction steel, high-quality wire rod steel and 3 million tons of hot-rolled steel coils per year. Hoa Phat Dung Quat 1 Iron and Steel Complex was completed in the first quarter of 2021.

Currently, Hoa Phat is implementing the Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Iron and Steel Complex project (located next to the Hoa Phat Dung Quat 1 Iron and Steel Complex) with a scale of over 280 hectares, with a total investment of VND 85 trillion. The total design capacity of this project is 5.6 million tons of hot rolled coil steel/year. According to the plan, the Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Iron and Steel Complex project will be completed in the first quarter of 2025. By the end of 2023, the project has completed 45% of the construction progress.
