The 3rd Vietnam-China Young Coast Guard Officer Exchange Program with the theme "Joining hands to protect the marine environment", is expected to take place next August, with the following activities: Paying courtesy visits to leaders of the General Department of Politics and Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard; visiting the Command of Coast Guard Region 1, visiting the Vietnam Coast Guard ship, planting souvenir trees; visiting, giving gifts, and participating in environmental protection activities at the fishing village in Lap Le commune, Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong city; exchanging experiences in law enforcement at sea; sports exchanges and Gala Night.

The program aims to consolidate and deepen the good cooperative relationship between the two forces, making the relationship between the Vietnam Coast Guard and the China Coast Guard more substantial and effective; and creating a premise to build and promote other cooperative activities at higher levels in the coming time.

Through the program, young officers of the Vietnam and China Coast Guards can enhance exchanges, learn, and share experiences in performing the functions and tasks of the two forces. In addition, the activities in the program also help the young generation of both sides to better understand the cultural beauty, customs, and historical values ​​of each country; enhance mutual understanding and trust, contributing to tightening the traditional solidarity and friendship between the two peoples and the two forces.
