50 years ago, on May 23, 1975, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Armed Police Force (now the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard) was established. Implementing the direction of the People's Armed Police Command and the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Armed Security Force surveyed and established 4 stations, including Da Bang Station - the predecessor of the Dak Rue Border Guard Station today. On October 26, 1975, 24 young officers and soldiers crossed forests and streams to choose a station and build the station, marking a historical milestone in the formation and development of the unit.

Over 50 years of construction and development, generations of officers and soldiers of Dak Rue Border Guard Station have always promoted the heroic tradition, solidarity, and resilience in overcoming all difficulties and challenges, successfully completing the task of managing and firmly protecting the sovereignty and security of the national border; contributing to further enhancing the glorious tradition of the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard. With outstanding contributions and achievements, the unit and many officers and soldiers have been awarded many noble titles and prizes by the Party, the State, the Army and superiors.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Ro Lan Ngan, Deputy Commissar of the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command, commended and congratulated the achievements of generations of officers and soldiers of Dak Rue Border Guard Station. The Deputy Commissar requested the unit to continue to synchronously and effectively implement border work measures; strictly maintain combat readiness, strengthen patrols and control to protect the integrity of territorial sovereignty and national border security; promote the spirit of solidarity, discipline, responsibility, and determination to excellently complete tasks in the new situation.

The Provincial Border Guard Command awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 3 individuals for their achievements in the process of building and developing Dak Rue Border Guard Station.
