Kien Giang: Wife invites husband to a drug party to say goodbye to a friend before he goes abroad.

On the afternoon of April 13th, the An Hoa Ward Police, Rach Gia City, Kien Giang Province, handed over 9 individuals along with seized evidence to the Rach Gia City Police Investigation Agency for handling according to their jurisdiction regarding the crime of organizing the illegal use of narcotics.

According to initial information, at approximately 9 PM on April 12th, the An Hoa Ward Police caught Vo Thi Thanh Truc (born in 2005, residing in An Minh Bac commune, U Minh Thuong district) red-handed while organizing the illegal use of narcotics for 8 other people at a house on 3/2 Street, An Hoa Ward, Rach Gia City.

At the police station, Truc confessed that because she was about to go work abroad with her husband for a while, they both went to the aforementioned house on the evening of April 12th.

Truc invited seven friends over. There, Truc offered them drugs, and they all agreed. Afterwards, Truc contacted a man to buy synthetic drugs for 5.7 million VND. While the group was using the drugs, they were caught red-handed by the police.

All nine people tested positive for synthetic drugs using rapid tests.

Earlier, on January 9th, the Drug Crime Investigation Team of the Rach Gia City Police (Kien Giang province) caught Kieu Thi Loan Em (24 years old, residing in An Phu district, An Giang province ) red-handed possessing 24 plastic bags suspected to contain synthetic drugs at a guesthouse on Lac Hong Street, Rach Gia City. The police seized the evidence and took Loan Em to the station for questioning.

During questioning, Loan Em initially admitted that she was a drug addict and had only recently arrived in Rach Gia City from An Giang province and rented a room at the aforementioned guesthouse four days prior. Loan Em stated that the items seized by the police were synthetic drugs and ecstasy pills.
