Kien Xuong: Spreading the "Skillful Mass Mobilization" movement in all fields

In recent times, the emulation movement "Skillful mass mobilization" has become a bright spot in mass mobilization work in Kien Xuong district, contributing to arousing the spirit of solidarity, promoting the internal strength of the people in building advanced new rural areas, model new rural areas, developing the socio-economy and consolidating a strong political system from the grassroots.

Realizing the role and significance of mass mobilization work in the new situation, the Standing Committee of Kien Xuong District Party Committee has issued many documents directing, guiding, and assigning specific tasks to each locality, agency, and unit. In particular, it emphasizes that the implementation of "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models is not just a formal emulation movement but must really come into life, stemming from the practical needs of the people, close to the political tasks of the locality. Right from the beginning of 2025, Kien Xuong district has directed the review and evaluation of operating models, and at the same time launched the construction of new and replicated "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models in all fields. The whole district has registered to build 124 models, focusing on areas such as economic development, culture - society, national defense - security and building the political system. Propaganda work is focused on, especially propaganda about typical models that have been carried out regularly, contributing to spreading good practices and typical examples to the community. One of the outstanding models is the "Skillful mass mobilization" movement in building cultural institutions in Thuong Phuc village, Quang Trung commune. In 2020, the village cultural house was built on an area of over ^1,000m2 with a total cost of more than 3 billion VND, entirely from socialized sources. To mobilize such large resources, the Party Committee, the Front Work Committee and mass organizations in the village have proactively propagated and mobilized people and children living far from home to join hands in contributing. Thanks to consensus and a high sense of responsibility, the project was completed in a short time, becoming a spiritual and cultural activity spot for the people. Mr. Vu Minh Sieu, Head of Thuong Phuc village, shared: We determined that skillful mass mobilization must make people understand, believe, and voluntarily follow, and mobilize people to contribute human and financial resources to build welfare projects. Therefore, not only building a cultural house, we also mobilized people to restore the historical relic site of the village - a place that marks the contributions of our ancestors in the resistance wars. Up to now, both projects have cultural and spiritual values, serving the lives of the people in the village. Ms. Tran Thi Theu, Thuong Phuc village, affirmed: Thanks to skillful mass mobilization, people are very confident and ready to support and agree to implement. Typically, to have a spacious and clean cultural house, in addition to voluntarily contributing 200,000 VND, I also actively participated with other households in contributing labor days for construction. Now, all village holidays and activities are held at the cultural house, contributing to the strong development of cultural, artistic and sports movements, and improving people's lives.

Not only stopping at the cultural field, the "Smart Mass Mobilization" movement in Kien Xuong is also promoted in economic development. In Binh Dinh commune, Mr. Phan Van Tien, Ai Quoc village is a typical example. Previously, his family mainly raised pigs, but after facing difficulties due to the epidemic, he boldly switched to the mud-free eel farming model. Thanks to his perseverance, creativity and daring spirit, he has now built 4 ponds with a scale of 20,000 eels. From 2024 to now, he has sold 1.2 tons of eels for an income of over 100 million VND. Mr. Tien affirmed: I always believe that only when I dare to change, dare to overcome difficulties, can I find a new direction. I also regularly participate in training courses, share experiences with people to develop and get rich together.

According to Mr. Le Van Trieu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh Dinh Commune, in 2025, the commune registered 7 "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models, including 3 economic development models. In addition to the eel farming model, the commune also has a plastic weaving model for export that attracts nearly 200 workers and a clean egg-laying chicken farming model that has initially brought about clear results. The Party Committee of the commune has issued a thematic resolution, directing the Fatherland Front and mass organizations to organize training and transfer of science and technology to individuals and organizations participating in the model to ensure sustainability.

Vivid practice from the grassroots shows that the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization" in Kien Xuong is being implemented methodically, effectively, substantially and associated with specific socio-economic development tasks. The advanced models and examples are not only the nucleus of spreading positive lifestyles and sense of responsibility in the community but also affirm the core role of Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and organizations in the work of mobilizing the people.
