Kon Tum proposes to invest 168 billion VND to repair provincial road 678

On May 30, Mr. Phan Muoi, Director of the Department of Construction of Kon Tum province, said that the People's Committee of Kon Tum province has registered the project to repair provincial road 678 and the underground bridge over Nang Nho 1 village, Dak Sao commune in the list of projects in need of investment in the province in the period of 2026-2030 to submit to ministries and central branches.

This project has a total estimated investment of about 168 billion VND. After the Central Government announces the investment capital for the project, the Department of Construction will coordinate with the Department of Finance to advise competent authorities on investment implementation.

As reported by SGGP, Provincial Road 678 is the only road leading to 4 communes of Tu Mo Rong District (Kon Tum Province) but is severely degraded. On this route, when there is heavy rain, the spillway bridge over Nang Nho 1 Village (Dak Sao Commune, Tu Mo Rong District) is often flooded, isolating people and posing a danger to road users. People have repeatedly petitioned for investment and upgrading of this road section to ensure safe travel.
