Signing a cooperation agreement on the network of training talents for 4.0 technology in AI and the semiconductor industry in the Central region

This network is among 13 networks of excellent training centers and talents in technology 4.0 announced by the Ministry of Education and Training on August 8, 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The formation of the network aims to shift from a single development model to multi-dimensional cooperation between universities, research institutes and businesses, towards building a dynamic and synchronous education - research - innovation ecosystem.

Pursuant to Decision 374/QD-TTg dated February 21, 2025 of the Prime Minister and Official Dispatch 3438/BGDĐT-KHCNTT dated June 27, 2025, Danang University of Technology - Danang University is assigned to lead the AI network and semiconductor industry in the Central region.

Here, the University of Science and Technology - Danang University signed with the Department of Science and Technology of Danang City, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, International University - Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, University of Science - Hue University, Nha Trang University, University of Science and Technology - Can Tho University, University of Technical Education - Danang University, University of Education - Danang University, Vietnam - Korea University of Information Technology and Communications - Danang University, Vietnam - Germany University, Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Hue University.

The network's goal is to standardize training programs, share resources, expand international cooperation, attract talent, and enhance business cooperation in training, research, and technology transfer.

This is an important step to meet the demand for high-quality human resources in the fields of AI and semiconductors - the spearhead industries of the 4.0 industrial revolution.

According to Mr. Ho Quang Buu, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the locality has identified science and technology, innovation and digital transformation as one of the strategic pillars of development according to Resolution 43 of the Politburo. In particular, artificial intelligence (AI) and semiconductor technology are considered two key areas, creating momentum to improve the competitiveness and position of Da Nang.
