This morning, November 3, the event of setting a Vietnamese record with 200 vegetarian dishes from lotus became the most special highlight in the series of activities of the 2025 vegetarian food festival (Green Food Festival) taking place for 5 days, from October 31 to November 4 at Binh Phu Park (HCMC).
This festival honors Vietnamese culinary culture, aiming for a green, healthy and happy lifestyle. The event is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Culinary Association (FBA) in coordination with the People's Committee of Binh Phu Ward, with the support of many businesses.

Representative of VietKings, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Ngoc, Deputy Director of Vietnam Records Institute, General Secretary of the Vietnam Records Organization Council (yellow shirt) announced the appraisal results and awarded the Vietnam Record Certificate to the Ho Chi Minh City Culinary Association (FBA) and Mena Gourmet supermarket with the content: Event of processing and promoting vegetarian dishes from lotus and agricultural products with the largest quantity in Vietnam

From early morning, artisans and chefs were present at Binh Phu Park (HCMC), where the 2025 vegetarian food festival took place in an event that set a Vietnamese record: Processing and promoting vegetarian dishes from lotus and agricultural products with the largest quantity in Vietnam. The event also attracted a large number of people and tourists from home and abroad.

The unique Banh Lau dish, a variation of the famous Nem Lau dish from the Western region, also appeared at the event to set a Vietnamese record with 200 vegetarian dishes made from lotus at the festival. Artisan Nguyen Thi Hong Yen (left) and artist Dang Thi Mai Loan said they brought to the event more than 10 Western cakes with additional ingredients from lotus, which delighted many festival attendees.

The Organizing Committee said that after 3 days (October 31 - November 2, 2025) at Binh Phu Park, the festival attracted nearly 120,000 visitors to visit, experience and enjoy cultural - culinary - community activities. The festival is becoming a unique "green festival destination", a cultural - tourism - culinary and community event with a large number of visitors in Ho Chi Minh City at the end of 2025.
