Cuc Phuong Museum also preserves more than 50 archaeological specimens, including a positive specimen of placoderm reptiles dating back 230-250 million years. At the same time, it preserves 122 pickled specimens, 82 animal specimens, 2,900 insect specimens of various kinds, and more than 12,000 plant specimens.

It is known that Cuc Phuong National Park is located in 3 provinces: Hoa Binh , Thanh Hoa and Ninh Binh. This is also the first national park in Vietnam established in 1962.
Cuc Phuong can be considered one of the top national parks in our country in terms of biodiversity. According to recent survey data, the park is home to more than 2,200 species of higher plants and mosses, many of which are listed in the Vietnam Red Book. In addition, there are more than 120 species of reptiles and amphibians, nearly 70 species of fish, nearly 2,000 species of insects, more than 330 species of birds and 135 species of mammals.

Among them, the white-rumped langur is a rare primate species chosen as the symbol of Cuc Phuong National Park.
