Today's bank interest rates show that Viet A Bank has sharply increased deposit interest rates across all maturities, with the highest rate reaching 6% per year. This is the first time in nearly 5 months (since June 27th) that Viet A Bank has adjusted its deposit interest rate schedule.

According to the online deposit interest rate chart listed at Viet A Bank, the interest rate for a 1-month term increased by 0.3%/year, and for a 2-month term increased by 0.4%/year, raising the bank's interest rates for these terms to 3.7%/year and 3.9%/year respectively, with interest paid at the end of the term.

The deposit interest rate for the 3-month term has increased by 0.3% per year, to 4% per year, effective from today.

Interest rates on deposits with a term of 4-5 months also increased by 0.3% per year, to 4.1% per year.

Along with Viet A Bank, the number of banks listing deposit interest rates above 4%/year for term deposits under 6 months can be counted on the fingers of one hand, such as OceanBank,OCB , VietBank, NCB, Nam A Bank, BaoViet Bank, Dong A Bank and BVBank.

In addition, Viet A Bank also aggressively increased interest rates by 0.4%/year for deposits with terms of 6-8 months and 0.6%/year for deposits with terms of 9-11 months. Accordingly, the interest rate for online deposits with terms of 6-8 months increased to 5.2%/year, while the rate for 9-11 months increased to 5.4%/year.

For 12-13 month term deposits, this bank increased interest rates by 0.3%/year to 5.7%/year, and the 15-month term also saw a similar increase to 5.8%/year.

Interest rates for 18-month and 24-month deposits have increased by 0.2% and 0.1% per year respectively, currently listed at 5.9% per year. This is also among the leading deposit interest rates in the market today.

Notably, the online deposit interest rate for a 36-month term at Viet A Bank has officially reached 6% per annum after increasing by 0.2% per annum effective from today.

Thus, Viet A Bank officially joins the "club" of banks listing interest rates from 6%/year, including: NCB, OceanBank, PVCombank, Bac A Bank , Saigonbank, BVBank, and ABBank.

This is also the only bank to adjust deposit interest rates today, bringing the total number of banks that have increased deposit interest rates since the beginning of November to seven, including: Viet A Bank, VIB, MB, Agribank , Techcombank, ABBank, and VietBank.
