On September 11, the police of Ward 3 - Bao Loc confirmed that the information spread on social networks about the rescue of a 7th grade student in this ward who was "drugged" and kidnapped was false.

Authorities confirmed that this is fabricated information, causing panic and affecting local security and order.

According to information from Ward 3 Police - Bao Loc, in the early morning of September 8, information was posted on social networks about a 7th grade student leaving the area by bus.

The article included details of "being drugged", "having a suspicious stranger" and then the student being rescued. This content caused public confusion.

Ward 3 Police - Bao Loc said they have verified all the content spread on Facebook and concluded that there was no "rescue" as described in the articles.

According to verification results, at around 2am on September 8, a 7th grade student in Bao Loc and a friend they met through social media proactively contacted Nhat Doan bus company to buy tickets to Ho Chi Minh City.

Discovering the incident, the family immediately contacted the bus company and the driver to coordinate to bring the child home safely.

Authorities confirmed that all passengers on the above bus booked tickets in advance and were picked up at the correct address according to the registration information.

"There was no rescue, no 'drugging' or 'suspicious strangers' appearing as falsely posted," a representative of Ward 3 Police - Bao Loc clearly stated.

The police also determined that the incident was not related to fraud or human trafficking as some accounts speculated.

Immediately after the inspection, Ward 3 Police - Bao Loc invited individuals involved in posting and sharing false information to work.

These people admitted to sharing without verification, leading to negative impacts on public opinion. The posts have been removed, and the individuals pledged not to repeat the offense.
