According to Cadena Cope , Yamal passed his fourth ESO exam this week, an importanteducational milestone in Spain that is equivalent to a high school diploma in the United States.
During his time with the Spanish team at Euro 2024, Lamine Yamal was noticed not only on the field but also for his diligence in studying.
Yamal once shared with AS : "I brought my homework to Euro 2024, because I am in the fourth year of ESO (compulsory general education). I also have online classes and I am doing quite well."
The 16-year-old striker is considering two options: continuing his studies at Bachillerato to complete the last two years of high school. Or focusing entirely on a professional football career.

However, according to Cadena Cope , it is almost certain that Yamal will continue his studies until he is 18 years old. Cadena Cope commented: "At La Masia, they will encourage Yamal to continue his studies until he is an adult."
After passing the exam, Yamal's first action was to call his mother to share the good news.
Yamal can now focus fully on Euro 2024, where he and Spain will face Georgia in the round of 16 at 2am on July 1 (Vietnam time).
