Spread the work following Uncle Ho's example

Leaders of Thanh Hoa City Party Committee and People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to outstanding individuals in implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW.

Following Uncle Ho's example, over the past decade, cadres, party members and people of the city have strived to emulate and follow Uncle Ho with many specific and practical actions, making an important contribution to building Thanh Hoa City into an increasingly civilized and modern one. This was emphasized by Chairman of Thanh Hoa City People's Committee Le Trong Thu at the conference summarizing 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo : "Cadres, party members and people of Thanh Hoa City are very proud that studying and following Uncle Ho's example has made an important contribution to successfully implementing the goals and tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, Party building and the political system. That result demonstrates the efforts, determination, solidarity and high unity in will and action of Party committees, authorities at all levels, agencies, units and people of all walks of life in the city".

36 outstanding individuals attended the conference summarizing 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW, each with a different story about the spirit of overcoming difficulties, daring to think, daring to do for the common benefit of the community, for the development of the city.

That is Mr. Khuong Van Yen, Party Cell Secretary, Head of the Front Work Committee of Doi Cung 1 Street (Dong Tho Ward), who has worked hard to build a "four good" Party cell: Leadership in completing political tasks well; good quality of life; good solidarity and discipline; good cadres and party members. From implementing the "four good", he has mobilized the combined strength of a large number of cadres, party members and people to join hands to build Doi Cung 1 Street into the first provincial-level cultural city and one of the 12 streets recognized as the first "model residential area" of the city.

Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh, Member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Van commune, who devoted much enthusiasm, intelligence and responsibility to building Dong Van into the first commune in the province to achieve the model NTM, was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister and the Third-class Labor Medalby the President .

Among the honored faces are ordinary yet noble people like the “armless teacher” Le Thi Tham, who has tirelessly pursued her dream with her own extraordinary willpower. Doing the job she loves, teacher Le Thi Tham (Dong Thinh Primary and Secondary School) has persevered in writing a beautiful story with the message “No matter how difficult it is, you must always move forward. The path is right under your feet”. Teacher Tham’s image has strongly inspired students and the community to have more faith and motivation to constantly strive forward in life.

That is also the image of Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien, a green park worker of Thanh Hoa Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company, who is dedicated and responsible for her work. For more than 20 years in the profession, she has always meticulously cared for and trimmed each flower pot and tree so that each street, street corner, and park is always green - clean - beautiful. For her, loving the job is not about flowery words, but about perseverance, regardless of waking up early or coming home late; about staying on the streets on hot or cold rainy days; about her calloused hands, but still cherishing and caring for each tree and flower on the streets.

Among the 54 collectives honored this time, Rung Thong ward is a very typical example. Proud to be the place where Uncle Ho first visited, over the past 78 years, the people and cadres in the ward have always upheld the spirit of solidarity, overcome all difficulties and challenges, and strived to develop Rung Thong in all aspects, of which the most valuable and proud thing is that the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to recognize the title of "model town" at the end of 2024, before merging into Thanh Hoa city to become Rung Thong ward as it is today.

For the city's female cadres and members, taking to heart Uncle Ho's teaching "The beautiful mountains and rivers of Vietnam are woven and embroidered by our women, young and old, to make them more beautiful and brilliant", they have used their mettle, talent and intelligence to build a beautiful world. To be worthy of Uncle Ho's teaching "the youth are the future owners of the country, the country's prosperity or decline, weakness or strength depends largely on the youth", the city's female union members and youth have worthily inherited the revolutionary tradition of their ancestors, nurtured their pure minds, forged their bright wills, built great ambitions, and built a generation of advanced youth who are "both red and expert", worthy of the expectations that the Party and Uncle Ho had for the future owners of the country.

There are many outstanding examples and typical groups in various fields. These groups and individuals gathered to attend the conference summarizing 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW with joy, radiance, and full of trust. The recognition of the city Party Committee and government is a great source of encouragement for groups and individuals to continue to strive and contribute more to the development of Thanh Hoa.
