Chau Thanh district leaders visit martyrs cemetery

Attending the funeral were Mr. Truong Van Hoan - Secretary of Chau Thanh District Party Committee, comrades in the District Party Executive Committee, former leaders of the district and the Party Committee of Division 5 (Military Region 7).

Delegates attending the funeral observed a minute of silence.

In front of the Monument of the Fatherland, the delegates offered flowers, incense and observed a minute of silence to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who died for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. After the ceremony, the delegates went to burn incense on the graves of the heroic martyrs in the Chau Thanh District Martyrs Cemetery, the resting place of more than 5,400 martyrs.

Mr. Truong Van Hoan - Secretary of Chau Thanh District Party Committee offered incense at the martyrs' monument.

On the same day, members of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee came to burn incense at the monument of heroic martyr Hoang Le Kha in the campus of Hoang Le Kha Primary School, Thai Binh commune.
