According to Dr. Mac Quoc Anh, Vice President of the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (Hanoisme), in the context of the country's efforts to promote innovation and develop a socialist-oriented market economy , legitimate enrichment is not only the right but also the responsibility of every citizen, especially the team of entrepreneurs and enterprises - the forces that directly create material wealth for the country.

"In the history of global economic development, there has never been a powerful country without a strong business class that knows how to get rich, and certainly Vietnam cannot be an exception," he said.

Notably, Mr. Quoc Anh emphasized that business leaders - in the role of "captains" steering the economic ship - cannot stand outside the "race" to get rich, cannot choose to be content or cautious, afraid of risks. Because that will only cause businesses to miss out on growth opportunities, easily fall into stagnation, and even gradually run out of assets.

"If leaders do not change their thinking and methods to enrich the business, but only know how to shrink in their comfort zone, afraid of change, afraid of taking responsibility, the business cannot develop and sooner or later will fall behind in the fierce competition of the market.

In today's world , people talk a lot about the concept of "creative entrepreneurs" - that is, not only enriching themselves but also creating value for society, the community, and the economy.

This mindset needs to be strongly encouraged in Vietnam, so that each enterprise is not only a production and business entity but also a "healthy cell", contributing to the sustainable development and overall prosperity of the country.

Therefore, any business leader who does not dare to get rich is abandoning his historical role in the country's development. And in my opinion, that person is not worthy of being a business leader in the new era," Mr. Quoc Anh stated his opinion.

However, Mr. Quoc Anh emphasized that business leaders cannot only focus on enriching themselves or their businesses without the spirit of serving the community.

He cited evidence: Reality in Vietnam and around the world has shown that sustainable businesses know how to combine personal interests with collective and community interests. For example, large corporations such as VinGroup, Viettel, FPT ... always aim to reach international standards, to help Vietnamese brands stand shoulder to shoulder with the world's great powers.

It is this desire to become rich in service that has motivated these businesses to dare to overcome all challenges, constantly innovate to grow. This helps them conquer the "big sea" and become increasingly strong and rich.

On the contrary, businesses that operate with a selfish mindset, focusing only on personal interests, often fall into a state of internal instability, lose strategic direction and lack attractiveness to investors, partners and employees. Such businesses will not be able to develop sustainably.

Sharing the same view, delegate Ha Si Dong (Quang Tri) analyzed from the business perspective that if leaders do not know how to get rich, they cannot inspire or motivate their subordinates to get rich, which will create a stagnant, inactive, and indecisive apparatus.

More dangerously, leaders who do not have a mindset of getting rich or refuse the desire to get rich because they are afraid of risks, afraid of mistakes or have a mentality of avoiding responsibility can also block the development path of the business, making it easy for it to fall into a deadlock.

Delegate Nguyen Thi Viet Nga (Hai Duong) also expressed her opinion: If a business leader does not know how to get rich legitimately, the business will not develop, so subordinates cannot rely on them, and therefore the attachment to the business will not be sustainable.

"Many businesses have gone bankrupt or dissolved because of a conservative mindset, while the modern trend is to always innovate. Competitors are constantly accelerating, finding every way to grow, while if we just stand still, we obviously cannot compete.

From that, it can be said that when business leaders do not know how to get rich, it will certainly affect their subordinates, making it difficult for them to get rich, and even face the risk of losing their jobs or becoming unemployed if the business goes bankrupt," said delegate Nga.

As a business leader, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phuoc, Deputy Director of An Khe Sugar Factory (Gia Lai), under Quang Ngai Sugarcane Corporation, admitted: if we want to motivate our subordinates to get rich and contribute to the business, the business leadership team themselves must know how to get rich and strive to get rich, accepting risks.

"In the current market mechanism, if business leaders do not drastically change their production and business thinking, do not dare to innovate and create to nurture the dream of getting rich, they will not be able to compete with other competitors. This will naturally lead to economic decline, leading to difficulties for businesses, leading to difficulties for subordinates and workers.

In addition, if a leader is not proactive and does not know how to get rich, it will lead to a stagnant system, weak businesses and dependent subordinates," said Mr. Phuoc.

Therefore, according to Mr. Phuoc, with the Prime Minister's call, business leaders need to be pioneers in getting rich. Those who have been making their businesses and the country rich should not stop but must always think of new ways and new directions to achieve greater results. As for those who do not know or do not want to get rich, they must quickly get rid of this mindset and immediately join the general trend of the business community to avoid being eliminated.

"Every entrepreneur and business that truly gets rich will contribute to the overall development of the country's economy. Only then can the double-digit growth target be achieved soon," Mr. Phuoc emphasized.
