Leaders of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward visited and gave gifts to meritorious people

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, on the morning of August 28, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward organized delegations to visit and present gifts to veteran revolutionary cadres, pre-uprising cadres, cadres imprisoned by the enemy, and living in the ward.

The delegation led by Party Secretary and Chairman of the Ward People's Council Do Trong Nam visited and presented gifts to: Mr. Huynh Duc Thang (born in 1924), a pre-uprising cadre; Mr. Nguyen Van Dang (born in 1928), Mr. Dang Huy Doan (born in 1947), Mr. Do Cao Tranh (born in 1943), cadres who were imprisoned by the enemy.

The delegation led by Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee Tran Duc Hieu visited and presented gifts to: Mr. Le Ngoc Tuan (born in 1926), veteran revolutionary cadre; Ms. Ngo Thi Canh (born in 1938), cadre imprisoned by the enemy; Mr. Do Ba (born in 1926), pre-uprising cadre.

The delegation led by Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Ward People's Committee Ha Anh Tuan visited and presented gifts to: Mr. Doan Nho (born in 1933), Mr. Luong Van Sai (born in 1929), pre-uprising cadres; Mr. Nguyen Khac Mai (born in 1933), cadres imprisoned by the enemy.

The delegation led by Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward Mai Van Lam visited and presented gifts to: Ms. Cao Thi Chuyen (born in 1926), a pre-uprising cadre; Mr. Vu Tien Bang (born in 1934), Mr. Tran Duc Vien (born in 1941), Mr. Ngo Duc Khuong (born in 1950), cadres who were imprisoned by the enemy.

At the families they visited, the ward leaders kindly asked about their health and expressed their deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the veteran revolutionaries in the struggle for national independence and protection of the Fatherland.

“We always remember the contributions of previous generations, the examples who bravely devoted their youth for national independence. This is an opportunity for today's generation to express their respect and continue that noble legacy,” Ward Party Secretary Do Trong Nam emotionally expressed.

Receiving the affection and care of the ward, the families of the meritorious people expressed their emotions and deep gratitude for the care of the local Party Committee and government; at the same time, they affirmed that they will continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, be a shining example for their children to follow, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, and contribute to building the locality to be more civilized and prosperous.
