Provincial leaders visit and support the family of a woman who died from a bee sting.

On the afternoon of September 8, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province Ngo Vu Thang visited and supported the family of Ms. DTQ (born in 1990, residing in Hamlet 6, Khanh Lam commune), the victim who died from a wasp sting.

Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang visited, encouraged and gave support money to Ms. DTQ's family in Khanh Lam commune.

According to the People's Committee of Khanh Lam Commune, at around 4:30 p.m. on September 6, Ms. Q. and her son, TVP (born in 2022), were attacked by hornets on their way home. People quickly took the mother and son to the emergency room, but Ms. Q. did not survive. Baby P. was stung more than 50 times by bees and is currently being treated at the Ca Mau Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital and is in stable condition.

At the victim's family, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang sent his condolences and deep encouragement, and affirmed that the government will continue to care for and support the family to soon stabilize their lives, especially taking care of the child.

Along with his condolences, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented support money from various sources in the amount of 37 million VND to the victim's family. The support amount was increased compared to the initial amount to share some of the difficulties, helping the family to have conditions to arrange Ms. Q's funeral and treat and take care of the baby's health. This is not only material support but also demonstrates the sense of responsibility, care and sharing of the provincial leaders towards the people in distress.
