Lao Cai: 9 students won prizes at the National "Vietnamese Champion" Contest on the Internet

On April 27, the Organizing Committee of the National Online Vietnamese Contest for Primary School Students in the 2024-2025 school year held an award ceremony. Lao Cai Province had 9 students winning prizes in this contest.

The National Round was held in Hanoi .

The contest is jointly organized by VietnamEducation Publishing House and Trang Nguyen Education Investment Company from September 2024 to April 2025 with the following rounds: Preliminary (school level); Huong exam (district level); Hoi exam (provincial level) and Dinh exam (national level).

Participating in the "Vietnamese Champion" contest are primary school students from grades 1 to 5. Candidates compete online on computers connected to the internet.

According to the Organizing Committee's statistics, more than 5,200 students from 63 provinces and cities nationwide participated in the competition rounds.

Based on the results of the Hoi exam, the Organizing Committee selected 372 students from 49 provinces/cities across the country to participate in the Dinh exam in Hanoi for 2 days (April 26-27) with 2 parts: computer-based exam and written exam.

Lao Cai province has 9 students participating in the National round.

As a result, all 9 students won prizes, with 2 first prizes, 1 second prize and 6 third prizes.

First prize went to Tran Nhu Y (Hoang Van Thu Primary School, Lao Cai city) and Lam Bao Cham (Na Hoi Primary School, Bac Ha district). Second prize went to Duong Duc Duy (Bac Lenh Primary School, Lao Cai city).

The playground “Vietnamese Champion” aims to help students review and master the knowledge and skills they have learned after regular school hours, strongly developing the movement of learning Vietnamese and loving Vietnamese. The playground also contributes to promoting the application of information technology, implementing digital transformation in teaching and learning at primary schools in the province.
