A series of public schools announced admission based on transcripts in April, with a minimum score of 18-22 for three subjects in the group.

The Academy of Journalism and Communication plans to recruit 15% of the total 2,400 students by considering their academic records. The admission score is the average score, combined with the score of Literature, History or English, in 5 semesters (except semester II, grade 12).

Candidates who register for admission based on their high school transcripts will receive priority points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training . Those with an international certificate equivalent to IELTS 5.0 or higher will receive 0.1-0.5 bonus points.

The minimum requirement is that candidates must achieve an average score of 6.5 for 5 semesters and have good conduct or better. The school accepts applications from now until 5:00 p.m. on May 30.

Hanoi Law University will accept applications based on high school transcripts from April 20 to May 15, and plans to enroll 1,200 of this year's 2,500 new students this way.

To register, candidates must have excellent academic performance in 5 semesters (except semester II, grade 12). In which, each subject in the group must achieve 7.5 points or higher in semester I, grade 12. For candidates registering for the Dak Lak branch, the condition is only two semesters of excellent academic performance, semester I grade 12 score of subjects in the group must be 7 or higher.

In addition to priority points, the school adds 1.5 incentive points for candidates from specialized and gifted high schools. If there are awards in competitions for excellent students, science and technology competitions or sports medals, candidates will receive 0.5-1.5 points.

Hanoi University of Civil Engineering announced to review transcripts from April 20 in most majors (except Architecture and Planning).

Admission score is the average score of grades 10, 11 and semester I of grade 12 of the subjects in the group, plus priority points.

Candidates with an international English or French certificate equivalent to IELTS 5.0, or SAT from 1100/1600, ACT from 22/36 or higher can use it to replace the foreign language score.

The University of Public Health plans to consider high school transcripts in April but there is no specific schedule yet, applicable to 5 majors: Public Health, Nutrition, Social Work, Rehabilitation Engineering, Data Science. The admission score is the average score of 5 semesters (excluding semester II, grade 12) of the three subjects in the group.

Candidates applying for Public Health, Nutrition, Social Work and Data Science must achieve a total score of 18 or higher. For Rehabilitation Engineering, the minimum score is 19.5, and candidates must have a good grade 12 academic record or a graduation score of 6.5 or higher.

Ho Chi Minh City Open University this year recruits 5,300 students, accepting applications from April 15 to May 31.

To apply, candidates need to have an average score of 22 points or higher for subjects in the 5 semesters. For Biotechnology, Social Work, Sociology and Southeast Asian Studies, the requirement is 18 points or higher.

For combinations with main subjects, this subject will be multiplied by a coefficient of 2. Candidates can use foreign language certificates to convert scores in combinations with this subject.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry plans to enroll 8,000 students, of which 30% will be considered based on their academic records, based on the average score of the entire 12th grade year of the 3 subjects in the group. The threshold for receiving applications is 21 points. For Pharmacy, it is 24 points, with the condition of having excellent 12th grade academic performance.

The school accepts applications from April 16 to 4:30 p.m. on July 5.

Vietnam Aviation Academy will review transcripts from now until May 31, divided into two rounds. The admission score is the average score of three subjects in the group in 5 semesters, with a minimum score of 18 or higher. For English Language majors, candidates must have an average English score of 7 or higher.

In addition to the above schools, many schools have accepted applications since March such as Electricity University, Vietnam Youth Academy, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education...

Meanwhile, many private schools have considered high school transcripts since January. Some schools have announced the first round of admission scores, such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Van Lang, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, Hong Bang International, and Gia Dinh. Most schools accept 6 points per subject, while some schools only accept 5.5.

This year, about 190 universities announced admission based on transcripts. In the past three years, the rate of candidates admitted by this method accounted for 30-40% of the total, second only to the method of considering graduation exam scores.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, schools that conduct early admissions, including considering academic records, will notify candidates of the results no later than 5:00 p.m. on July 10. To be recognized as successful, candidates must enter their wishes into the Ministry's common system from July 18 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30.
