Not counting schools that teach bilingual and international programs, in Hanoi's inner city there are many private schools that charge tuition fees of less than 5 million VND/month.

Hanoi currently has more than 100 non-public high schools with tuition fees ranging from several million to nearly 100 million VND per month. Of which, the highest fee is at Dwight Hanoi School, up to 95.5 million VND/month, equivalent to nearly 1 billion VND/year. Brighton College is next with the highest fee of about 89.2 million VND/month, equivalent to nearly 900 million VND/year.

Schools with tuition fees from 5 to 15 million VND often have additional enhanced, high-quality bilingual programs,... such as Doan Thi Diem High School, Nguyen Sieu High School, Phenikaa High School,...

Schools with tuition fees under 5 million VND/month usually teach according to the curriculum of the Ministry of Education and Training. However, in addition to tuition fees, parents still have to pay other fees such as boarding, experience activity fees, lunch, school development fees, and shuttle bus if needed. The total average cost can be up to 7-9 million VND/month.
