This special class opened at the end of April 2025, attracting the participation of 20 enthusiastic students. The patterns taught are familiar, close images, closely associated with the daily life and motifs on traditional brocade of the M'nong people.
Ms. Duong Vy Ha, lecturer at Dak Lak College of Culture and Arts, who directly taught the class, expressed her excitement at the students' understanding: "During the course, the students participated fully and gradually perfected their skills in decorating patterns on their ceramic products, from simple initial strokes to complex motifs. The students have been equipped with basic knowledge and techniques to create unique patterns on ceramics. Up to now, all students can draw patterns on ceramic products by themselves, and many have even reached a very beautiful level of drawing."

The training class is not only a course but also a practical activity in the effort to preserve and promote intangible cultural heritages, especially traditional crafts that are facing the risk of extinction. The success of the class is not only reflected in the practical skills of the students but also has a profound meaning in creating a generation of successors, transferring valuable knowledge of traditional crafts. This helps the younger generation understand and love the pottery profession more, contributing significantly to preserving a part of the unique cultural soul of the M'nong people.
This is also a solid foundation for developing traditional craft villages, linking with community cultural tourism , creating sustainable livelihoods for local people.
Mr. Lai Duc Dai, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province, spoke at the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province Lai Duc Dai emphasized: "After this meaningful course, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism hopes that agencies, units and localities will continue to pay attention, support and create favorable conditions to replicate this teaching model. This is a practical action contributing to preserving and promoting the unique cultural values of the M'nong ethnic group in particular and the ethnic groups in the Central Highlands in general".
Mr. Dai also expressed his confidence in the students: "I hope that you will continue to practice and develop the knowledge and skills you have learned, and continue to contribute to the preservation and development of the traditional pottery craft of the M'nong people - a priceless cultural heritage of the local community."
