On the afternoon of September 7, the movie "Love in Vietnam" (Vietnamese title: Love at first sight ), a joint project between Innovations India (India) and Samten Hills (Vietnam) officially premiered in the capital city of New Delhi, India, attracting the attention of a large audience of both countries.

Inspired by the classic Turkish novel "Madonna in a Fur Coat," director-screenwriter Rahhat Shah Kazmi's "Love in Vietnam" unfolds a dreamy love story.

Young man Manav (played by Shantanu Maheshwari) has a dream of becoming a singer and is forced to go to Vietnam to study.

Here, he was “enchanted” by the self-portrait of the female artist and dancer Linh (played by Kha Ngan). When the two had the chance to meet, his heart broke out in the rapid beats of love.

However, the time immersed in the whirlpool of love is short-lived when Simmi (played by Avneet Kaur) - Manav's childhood best friend, appears. From here, the twists and turns begin, putting 3 hearts on a challenging journey, where love, friendship and destiny intertwine, and only "love-sick people" are brave enough to continue to the end.

The love story in "Love in Vietnam" becomes even more romantic when set in the poetic setting of many lands in Vietnam.

The film not only immerses the audience in soulful Indian love songs or the sweet, dramatic emotions of the couple, but is also a journey to discover the magical beauty of the S-shaped country.

More than 75% of the film's scenes were filmed in Vietnam, both beautiful and familiar, like a gentle love song in which every frame, every face, every scene touches the viewer's heart.

In addition, the aviation service with the participation of Vietnam Airlines in the film has helped to enhance the travel experience and cultural exchange between Vietnam and India, creating a solid bridge for audiences and tourists to easily explore the romantic scenes in the film.

In an interview with a VNA reporter in New Delhi, Mr. Rahul Bali, CEO of Innovations India, the main producer of the film project, expressed his "extreme happiness" when "Love in Vietnam" - the first co-production film between India and Vietnam - was officially released.

He said: "The idea originated from the Namaste Vietnam Festival. I believe that cinema has the power to connect people and connect two nations that share many common values: love, family, resilience and sacrifice. The film not only brings an emotional cross-border love story, but also promotes the beauty of Vietnam to Indian audiences. I believe that "Love in Vietnam" will open a new door for Indo-Vietnamese cinema and above all, will make international friends feel a Vietnam that is both romantic and warm, where love always finds a common voice."

Also at the premiere, Ms. Kritika Juneja, a master's student at the South Asian University in Delhi, said that "the film "Love in Vietnam" is a wonderful combination of India and Vietnam.

This is a prime example of people-to-people diplomacy that both the Government of India and the Government of Vietnam have achieved through this film collaboration. This cultural exchange will also help the people of India experience the beautiful landscapes of Vietnam on the big screen.

In addition, the film promotes Vietnam as an ideal destination for Indian couples planning to hold their wedding at an exotic destination, as this is a popular trend among the Indian community today.”

With an investment budget of 4 million USD, "Love in Vietnam" made a splash when it was purchased for distribution in 10,000 theaters in China even before its release in India.

According to plan, after premiering in Vietnam, India, China and many other countries, the film will continue to reach global audiences on the Netflix platform./.
