With his powerful, strong, and captivating baritone voice, Mai Nguyen Anh shone brightly at the final round of the "Hanoi's Best Voice 2024" competition (held on the evening of November 28th at the Hanoi Grand Opera House).

He not only impressed with his wide vocal range and expressive singing style, but also demonstrated confidence when performing on stage. As a result, the male singer excellently won the "Most Popular Singer" award and the runner-up position in the competition.

The "Hanoi's Best Voice 2024" singing competition is organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports , with media sponsorship from Tuoi Tre Thu Do Newspaper and broadcast live on VTV2.

In the final round, the contestants performed with a live band, showcasing three genres: classical, folk, and pop music.

Audiences were treated to a diverse musical feast, ranging from deep, poignant melodies to vibrant, energetic tunes.

In particular, the appearance of renowned guest artists such as Meritorious Artist Thanh Lam, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, and singer Tung Duong added to the program's appeal.

Mai Nguyen Anh's performance was particularly captivating.

Mai Nguyen Anh, with her impressive performance of "Water God" - a work by Bui Hoang Nam Duc Anh, captivated both the audience and the judges with her expressive voice and confident demeanor.

The audience could not forget the emotionally charged high notes he delivered to the performance. Mai Nguyen Anh also received the award for "Most Popular Singer".

In addition to individual awards, the competition also recognized many other supplementary awards such as the "Best Song about Hanoi" award for Luu Thi Phuong Thao, the "Most Popular Contestant among Judges" award for Duong Ngoc Anh, and especially the "Most Popular Contestant among Audiences" award for Mai Nguyen Anh.

Mai Nguyen Anh is the son of Meritorious Artist Huong Giang.

Mai Nguyen Anh, born in 1999, comes from a family with a tradition in the arts. From a young age, he followed his mother, Meritorious Artist Huong Giang, in many artistic activities. Later, he studied vocal music at the Military University of Culture and Arts and is currently working at the Military Region 2 Performing Arts Troupe.

"Hanoi's Best Voice 2024" is not only a platform for young talents to shine, but also a bridge to awaken love for the homeland and country, while contributing to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people of the capital city.

At the end of the competition, two first prizes were awarded to Bui Huyen Trang (classical music category) and Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh (light music category). In addition, three second prizes were awarded to Mai Nguyen Anh (light music category), Dinh Xuan Dat and Phan Trung Kien (classical music category), along with five third prizes for other contestants.
