On the evening of December 12th, the Youth World Theatre held a rehearsal of the play "A Million Dollar Birthday," a new production imbued with contemporary issues, continuing the familiar creative tradition of this theatre: using pressing social issues as dramatic material to reflect on the human condition today.
The play by author Nguyen Huu Tien was originally titled "Run Away Immediately," directed by Tien Luat, with stage design by People's Artist Doan Bang.
The play "Million Dollar Birthday" brings together a cast of experienced actors who appeal to young audiences: Tieu Bao Quoc, Thu Trang, Tien Luat, Quang Tuan, Kha Nhu, Huynh Phuong, Thuan Nguyen, Ba Nam, Thanh Huy…. Each actor brings their own unique style and personality, together creating a vibrant and diverse theatrical tableau.

Greed – the underlying current of family tragedy
Set against the backdrop of what appears to be a happy and fulfilling birthday, the story quickly reveals the dark underbelly of human psychology. The actors received praise from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports' Arts Council for their performance in the play "Million Dollar Birthday".
