Hoang Kim Ngoc will return to the big screen in October with a role in the film "The Haunted House" (directed by Truong Dung). She said that the special reason for participating in this film was the appearance of actor Quang Tuan - whom she greatly admires.

"I admire his focus and dedication to his craft," the actress revealed. Coincidentally, Hoang Kim Ngoc will play Thuy, the girlfriend of the character Quy (played by Quang Tuan).

According to Hoàng Kim Ngọc's initial revelation, this is an interesting character with diverse transformations. Thùy is a girl with spiritual tendencies, working as a fortune teller. Thùy's actions and words have a significant impact on the plot of the film. During the filming process, Hoàng Kim Ngọc revealed that she found director Trương Dũng's working style fascinating. From the script, a seemingly ordinary line of dialogue was transformed on set to become charming and humorous.

As the only actress from Hanoi participating in the film, Hoang Kim Ngoc shared that she felt no pressure when participating in this project; in fact, the film was "very relaxed and enjoyable." Before filming began, she had the opportunity to chat with members of the crew through online groups to get acquainted. When she met them on set, the harmonious atmosphere made her even more comfortable. The only thing that worried her was the possibility of a Northern accent mixing in during scenes where everyone was speaking in the Southern dialect. However, according to Hoang Kim Ngoc, many recent films have tried to bridge the gap between Southern and Northern accents, offering audiences the opportunity to enjoy diverse cinematic works.

Despite receiving formal training at the Hanoi University of Theatre and Film, and even graduating as valedictorian in acting, Hoang Kim Ngoc focuses more on her business ventures. She even suggested that director Hoang Nam find another actress. It wasn't until the director traveled all the way from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi to persuade her that she finally accepted.
