The producer of Ai Thuong Ai Aem has just released a teaser poster and teaser trailer revealing a series of tragedies revolving around the life of the character Hai Men (played by Thu Trang). The work brings together a cast including Thu Trang, Ngoc Thuan, Vo Dien Gia Huy and Tram Anh, forming the film's quartet of central characters.

Appearing with the image of a Western gentleman, Ngoc Thuan attracted attention in the role of Kha - a stylish, wealthy young master. From the creditor-debtor relationship with Hai Men, Kha gradually developed feelings for her, starting with humorous exchanges and then moving to deeper emotional levels.
This is the first time Ngoc Thuan has collaborated with Thu Trang on the big screen. To get into the role, the actor had to go through many casting rounds and lose weight rapidly within a week. He said this role was a big challenge because it required a high level of acting and psychological transformation of the character.
Thu Trang – who is also the film director – said the reason for choosing Ngoc Thuan is because he has a gentle, sympathetic face, suitable for the image of a Western prince who is somewhat "playboy" but rich in emotions.

Besides the love story of Hai Men and Kha, the teaser trailer also reveals the simple love story between Cho (Vo Dien Gia Huy) and Thuong (Tram Anh). Emotional moments such as affectionate looks, simple confessions… contribute to highlighting the humanistic message of the film.

However, tragedy struck when Hai Men suddenly became the breadwinner of the family, shouldering the burden of mounting debts. The image of the character kneeling in the rain, being forced to sell his house, and even being assaulted made viewers feel heartbroken.

The climax is pushed when during the funeral of his parents, Hai Men continues to be chased by creditors (played by Trung Lun and Tien Luat). The character Thuong is even forced to sell her virginity to save her family, creating a haunting twist in the trailer.

Besides drama and emotion, Ai Thuong Ai Ao also vividly recreates the life and culture of the Southwest region through images of villages, people and local characteristics.

The film is expected to be released from January 1, 2026 in theaters nationwide.
