Child model Hai Phuong makes an impression at the Vietnam-Korea Cultural Friendship Festival

The Vietnam-Korea Friendship Cultural Festival 2024, organized by the Korean Embassy in Vietnam, took place from October 26-27 on Le Loi Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City with many diverse activities.

Among them, the highlight is the Hanbok - Ao Dai fashion show by designers from Vietnam and Korea: Song Hyemi, Kim Youngjin and Thach Linh.

At the event, designer Thach Linh brought the "Tang Tinh Tang" ao dai collection with the wish to promote Vietnamese culture not only to Ho Chi Minh City audiences but also to international friends.

The designs in the collection are inspired by Vietnamese costumes, ao ngu than, ao giao linh, Nhat Binh... with ancient patterns from the Nguyen and Ly dynasties, Vietnamese bamboo, Vietnamese dragons, Dong Son bronze drums...

In particular, the highlight of the collection is the design inspired by the costume of a medium performed by 12-year-old child model Pham Hoang Hai Phuong.

Designer Thach Linh shared: "The costume of the spirit medium is a cultural beauty with very high artistic value and has a special significance in Vietnamese beliefs.

The Vietnamese Mother Goddess Worship belief has become a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity, which is a great pride and I want to further honor that through the language of fashion. Through the collection "Tang tinh tang", I hope everyone has a deeper insight into the unique cultural heritage of our country Vietnam.

The “Tang Tinh Tang” ao dai performance by designer Thach Linh left a strong impression on the audience, especially at the end of the show, when supermodel Vo Hoang Yen and child model Pham Hoang Hai Phuong appeared as vedettes, the audience was delighted and applauded continuously.

If supermodel Vo Hoang Yen is radiant and luxurious with a yellow design, child model Hai Phuong is gorgeous and powerful with red - the color of the Mother Goddess.

The ao dai combined with a crown with dragon and phoenix motifs inspired by the costume of Holy Mother Lieu Hanh was confidently and gracefully displayed by the 12-year-old child model, both possessing traditional beauty and exuding a modern, fresh look.

Right after the "Tang Tinh Tang" collection show ended, many audiences were curious to know about the child model who walked with supermodel Vo Hoang Yen.

Pham Hoang Hai Phuong was born in 2012 and is currently a 7th grade student at Dewey Hai Phong School. Since childhood, Hai Phuong has shown her talent in singing, dancing, fashion shows, etc. Although she has not been involved in artistic activities for a long time, she has quickly affirmed her talent.

The child model from Hai Phong won the Gold prize for the group dance in the Asia Arts Festival competition, and performed in major fashion shows such as Hello Tinh Hoa and Tinh Anh, Giao Thoi...

Last September, Hai Phuong performed at Cosmo The Show – a fashion show within the framework of the National Costume competition of the Miss Cosmo – Miss Universe International 2024 contest.

Next, she was invited to be the vedette with supermodel Vu Thu Phuong in the 2024 Vietnam Heritage Ao Dai Festival at Tran Bien Temple of Literature (Bien Hoa, Dong Nai).
