Responding to the call for support for people in flood-affected areas of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Mavin Group, through the Thanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society, coordinated with World Vision International in Vietnam to implement a program to donate relief goods to people affected by storm No. 10 (Bualoi) in Thanh Phong commune, Thanh Hoa province.

The gift-giving ceremony was held solemnly and meaningfully at the Thanh Phong Commune Party Committee Hall, with the presence of representatives of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross; Thanh Phong Commune Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee; Senior leaders of World Vision International in Vietnam and especially the participation of 115 households affected by natural disasters, all of whom are households in difficult circumstances, poor households, near-poor households, households with the elderly, children and pregnant women..., whose houses were swept away, damaged or affected by the recent storm No. 10.
Mavin Group’s relief package for Thanh Phong commune includes 4,686 essential canned products such as pate, canned meat, tuna, sausages, etc. with a total value of over 125 million VND. The products are selected to meet nutritional needs, are easy to preserve, and are suitable for the conditions of households after natural disasters.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Xuan Hao - Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society expressed his appreciation for the timely and humane support of Mavin Group and World Vision International in Vietnam, and emphasized that this is a great source of spiritual encouragement to help people overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives after the storm and flood.
On behalf of Mavin Group, Mr. David John Whiteahead, Chairman of the Board of Directors, directly attended, encouraged and presented gifts to the disadvantaged households. Chairman of Mavin expressed his deep sympathy for the difficulties and losses that the people of Thanh Phong and Tan Thanh communes - as well as people in many other localities across the country - are suffering after the recent storms and floods.
“As a long-term investor in Thanh Hoa province with high-tech livestock projects, Mavin Group has been accompanying the locality to promote socio -economic development and sustainable agricultural development. In addition, we are also committed to actively participating in social security programs and restoring local livelihoods,” Mr. David emphasized.

On behalf of World Vision International in Vietnam, Ms. Than Thi Ha - Director of Strategy, Program Quality & Resource Development acknowledged the close companionship of Mavin Group over the past 8 years in the humanitarian activities of WVI partner in Thanh Hoa province.
“We are very happy and grateful to be able to accompany Mavin Group in this meaningful program. We believe that, with the leadership of the Departments, Boards and Branches of Thanh Hoa province, the coordination of the Provincial Red Cross Society, and the cooperation of the Thanh Phong Commune Project Management Board, these meaningful gifts will be a support to help thousands of families overcome difficulties after the rainy and stormy season and soon stabilize their lives,” Ms. Than Thi Ha shared.
The program is part of an international emergency aid package worth 250 million VND implemented by Mavin Group in collaboration with World Vision International in Vietnam, to help people affected in Tan Thanh and Thanh Phong communes, Thanh Hoa province overcome the consequences of storm No. 10 (Bualoi). After the program in Thanh Phong commune, Mavin Group and its partners will continue to organize the second gift-giving ceremony in Tan Thanh commune on December 5, 2025.
