In recent days, images of MC Duc Bao have been circulating on social media, along with a quote about children: "If a child is born to inherit your hardship and poverty, then not having children is also a kind of virtue."
This post has sparked controversy on social media. While some agree with the viewpoint, many others believe that MC Duc Bao was insensitive and hurtful to many parents facing difficult circumstances.

Speaking to a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper on the morning of January 14th, MC Duc Bao stated that the above statement was not his opinion, was not spoken by him, and did not appear in any program.
"That content was shared by one of my pages (managed by Duc Bao's team - PV) and was blown out of proportion because numerous fan pages reposted it without checking whether I actually said that. But I understand that since it originated from me, I still have a responsibility to explain it so that everyone has a more accurate understanding," he expressed.
The male MC affirmed that he did not intend to criticize anyone and did not want to hurt anyone with these comments. He also said that this quote had been around for a long time, but perhaps because he is a public figure, sharing it made it harder for people to accept.

Following this incident, Duc Bao stated that he will learn from his mistakes, avoid making statements on controversial topics, and if he does share anything, he will be clearer and more specific to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings.
On his personal Facebook page, Duc Bao also posted an explanation regarding the controversies surrounding his views on children. According to him, this content serves as a reminder of the responsibility of parents to bring their children into the world only after careful consideration and the best possible preparation.
"Certainly no one wants to witness more abandoned lives, children who, instead of studying and playing, are forced to do hard labor in the worst conditions," Duc Bao stated.
The male MC also expressed that he didn't expect the content to receive so much attention, and regretted that the quote he shared had led to misunderstandings and created negative emotions for some people.
"Ultimately, the choice is ultimately a personal one. Whether to have children or not, what conditions are sufficient or not, are all very personal thoughts and decisions of each couple and each family. Once again, I sincerely apologize to everyone for the misunderstandings and unnecessary experiences," he confided.
