On the second day at the training camp, Dieu opened up to us more because she had paid the remaining 13 million VND for the course.

As soon as we entered the “oven”, two girls who were “injection models” were waiting for us. No longer talking about theory, Dieu kept urging us: “Hurry up, ma’am, the model has been waiting for you for an hour. This time, you have to hold the needle yourself.”

Having said that, Dieu gave us the tools and asked us to get to work.

Still playing the role of a good student, we meticulously performed cleaning steps with antiseptic solution and saline solution.

The model’s face was heavily made up, with the foundation clumping in the areas that needed to be injected. When we suggested cleaning a wider area, Dieu brushed us off: “Just clean the right spot for the injection. And just dab a little, just do it lightly, how much is enough for someone like you?”

While waiting for the numbing sample, Dieu showed us a source that specializes in providing fillers and botox. Opening a Facebook page called "Fibo Global - Botox Filler Warehouse", Dieu said this is the address where she has been getting the most products recently.

Showing us the price list, Dieu read the names of each type of filler and botox but not fluently. We felt that Dieu herself was not familiar with these substances and could only differentiate them by color.

Dozens of fillers and botox with different prices. The lowest original price is from 160,000 VND/cc, up to 5 million VND/cc, depending on the type.

“In general, you don’t need to remember much, just remember that one word is worth ten. When consulting, you just need to say that the Korean type has this price, the Russian type has that price. For example, I usually inject for customers, I inject the 160,000 type, then charge them 1.5 million. Some customers who want something a little more expensive, inject the 260,000 type, charge 2.5 million. Or inject the 320,000 type, charge 3 million. Right now, I inject those 3 types the most,” Dieu said.

According to Dieu, for customers who come to use the service, few people know clearly about the type of filler or botox they will use. When consulting, just tell them some of the types you have available and which country they come from, it will be easier for customers to understand. Many customers only need to hear the name of the country of manufacture to trust.

Dieu did not forget to tell us about a few cases where people came to get injections, wanting to check the product, but in fact, they just "acted like they were knowledgeable and very careful".

“Last time, a girl came to get an injection, she acted really scary, she wanted to check the barcode. I let her check it freely. When she checked, it showed a series of words in English, Korean, Russian, and some words related to filler and botox, so she seemed reassured. Don't worry, I couldn't give a price so I wanted to check it so they could check it,” Dieu said sarcastically.

The “owner of the furnace” also confirmed to us that customers will never think that the price of fillers and botox will be as low as it actually is. Except for customers who are in the profession, or who take pictures and send them to their friends to practice. Therefore, the price of 100% profit is always reasonable for customers, because no one wants to inject something too cheap into their face.

After 20 minutes of numbing, Dieu handed them the syringe filled with the solution: “This baby needs a slimming injection, so she should use botox. You should inject it.”

This was the first case of Botox injection. Not only were we not properly instructed, we had never seen Dieu “demonstrate”. However, Dieu still asked us to “practice” directly.

Seeing that the situation was not good, we tried to refuse: "Let me do the injection first, let me observe first. This is my first botox case, let me get used to it."

Dieu reluctantly agreed.

The model is a second-year student at a university in Binh Thanh district. Before getting the injection, the second-year student complained that she had been a model for Botox injections in many places, but her jawline did not improve significantly.

In response to this question, Dieu explained that each person's constitution is different, and that the medicine may not be suitable for them, so the effect is not high.

Dieu injected 2cc of solution into both sides of this girl's jaw, the injection time was less than 5 minutes.

To avoid being forced to inject again, we made up the excuse that we suddenly felt tired. Our bodies were so weak that we couldn't hold the needle.

Once again, Dieu reluctantly agreed, but did not forget to complain: "As if recruiting models is easy. Recruit for me, why bother asking me to get vaccinated? What a waste."

Having said that, Dieu quickly performed the filler injection into the second-year student's lips. Because the client wanted a natural lip shape, this lip injection only took half a syringe (0.5cc).

While waiting for the remaining model to be given more anesthetic, Dieu took the opportunity to "teach" us a few "tricks".

“When injecting a customer, just mix it correctly, or add a little bit. But when injecting a sample, you have to mix it up to make a profit,” said Dieu, looking around to make sure no one else heard her.

To help us visualize, Dieu picked up a bottle of botox and said that when injecting a customer, this bottle would be mixed with 2 syringes (2cc) of distilled water. But when injecting a model, we can mix 6 - 8 tubes as desired.

“In general, how would they know what I injected into their face? Like botox, it’s hard to tell if it’s effective or not, just blame it on the body. And with the model, few people dare to comment,” Dieu said softly.

The other girl (model 2) wanted lip filler injections and smile lines. Because we were tired and asked to stand and observe, Dieu did not force us to hold the needle this time.

The second-year student's half syringe of filler was still on the instrument tray, and we did not expect this solution to be used again.

However, as expected, Dieu used this filler to inject into the new model's lips.

During the injection, we were shocked when the syringe popped out, separating the needle. At this time, the needle was still hanging from the girl's lip.

Not worried about the accident and not paying attention to the girl's face grimacing in pain on the injection table, Dieu just hurriedly pulled out the needle and reattached it to the syringe.

"See, when you attach it, remember to attach it tightly, otherwise the filler will overflow and be a waste," Dieu said indifferently.

On this occasion, we mentioned the complications of injections. Hearing that, Dieu confidently said: “Only poor skills can cause complications”. This answer made us look back at ourselves in confusion.

Dieu also affirmed that filler and botox injections are the least risky beauty treatments. Dieu has injected hundreds of cases, including many buttock cases (injecting 500 cc into the buttocks) but is still safe.

We questioned about nose and temple filler injections, because there had been many cases of blindness requiring emergency treatment. At this time, Dieu just mumbled: "Well, those two areas are limited for injections."

After each injection, Dieu gave us a white blouse to wear and instructed us on how to "pretend" for the photo shoot.

“Take lots of photos, save them for later posting on Facebook and Zalo. Wearing a blouse makes you look more professional and helps you attract customers,” Dieu said.
