Open for ASEAN Scholarship 2026

NDO - ASEAN scholarships for Vietnamese students currently in grades 8, 9, 10, are granted for 4 years of study, including 2 years of high school and 2 years of university preparation at Singaporean schools.

The Embassy of Singapore in Vietnam announced that the ASEAN Scholarship for the academic year 2026 has officially opened online applications.

The ASEAN Scholarship is a scholarship programme administered by the Ministryof Education of the Republic of Singapore to provide opportunities for outstanding young people from ASEAN countries to broaden their horizons and develop their potential, as well as equip them with important skills such as leadership, communication and other life skills. At the same time, the programme also helps to promote goodwill and enhance understanding between young people from different countries and Singapore.

The ASEAN Scholarship for Vietnamese students is granted for 4 years of study, including 2 years of secondary school and 2 years of pre-university study at Singapore schools until the attainment of the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE “A” Level) or equivalent. The scholarship includes a living allowance, hostel accommodation, settling-in allowance, return economy class airfare, tuition fees, one-off GCE “O” Level and GCE “A” Level examination fees, medical insurance and accident insurance.

The conditions for application are that candidates must be Vietnamese citizens, born between January 2, 2009 and January 1, 2012; fluent in English; currently in grades 8, 9, or 10; have good results in school exams; have good results in extracurricular activities.

Candidates who are successful in the online application round will be invited to attend the audition round. Candidates who perform well in the audition round will continue to attend the interview round.
