2024 marks the 5th year of the "Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product" award. This is a prestigious, official award in the field of information and communication technology, presented annually by the Ministry of Information and Communications to Vietnamese organizations and businesses with outstanding digital technology products. These products are researched, designed, created, and manufactured in Vietnam to solve Vietnamese problems and expand internationally.

The 2024 awards will honor outstanding digital technology products that embody Vietnamese intellectual pride, create new momentum for economic growth, build national competitiveness, and increase labor productivity. These are also products that bring value to people and businesses in digital transformation and the development of the digital economy across various socio-economic sectors. The awards will also continue to recognize Vietnamese digital technology products that conquer the world, contribute to the development of humanity, and bring prosperity to Vietnam.

Speaking at the award launch ceremony, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Bui Hoang Phuong emphasized: The "Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product" award is an important and concrete activity of the Ministry of Information and Communications aimed at supporting trade and investment promotion, boosting domestic consumption, and promoting exports of new products, services, solutions, and business models.

The award also contributes to promoting the digital application innovations of digital technology enterprises to boost labor productivity in economic sectors and fields participating in the industrialization and modernization of the country.

Over the past five years, the "Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product" Award has attracted numerous entries. Many of the winning products from businesses have been applied in practice, making a significant contribution to the national digital transformation and accelerating the digital transformation process across industries and sectors more effectively.

The award has also created ripple effects, further promoting the development of Vietnam's IT and digital technology industries, and boosting the "Make in Vietnam" strategy – creating, designing, and manufacturing in Vietnam.

The Ministry of Information and Communications will coordinate with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to select and award Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Top 10 prizes to the most outstanding digital technology products. The Ministry of Information and Communications is committed to working alongside the award-winning businesses to bring their digital technology products to a wider and more accessible market.

"I call on the Vietnamese digital technology business community to respond and actively participate in this award so that the Ministry of Information and Communications can find and honor the most outstanding and deserving 'Make in Vietnam' products of 2024," Deputy Minister Bui Hoang Phuong launched.
