In the Air Force formation participating in the A80 mission at Hoa Lac Airport, Lieutenant Colonel Do Anh Tuan, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of Air Force Regiment 917, Division 370, Air Defense - Air Force Service (PK-KQ) participated in the ground support force. He was the person directly carrying out Party and political work in the flight mission of Regiment 917 at Hoa Lac Airport.

Before entering the peak training phase with the forces in the A80 formation in Hoa Lac, he and his unit made a "field transfer" journey of nearly 2,000km from Can Tho to Hanoi . "This is a particularly important and extremely meaningful task for every soldier. I feel very honored and proud to be able to contribute to the success of this important event with my teammates," he shared.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thi Hoa - currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Marxism-Leninism Theory, Air Defense - Air Force Academy participated in the Standing Block (waving flags and flowers). She has just successfully completed her pre-assignment - the actual position of Deputy Political Commissar at the 26th Information Brigade, Air Defense - Air Force Service. Although training in two different blocks, both husband and wife always encourage each other, share joys and difficulties through short text messages and phone calls after each hard training day.

Like many other military families, the thing that worries Lieutenant Colonel Do Anh Tuan and his wife Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thi Hoa the most is taking care of and raising their children during the intense training period at the end of August, a time close to the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2.

“We have to start our day at 4am to prepare for each flight. My wife also trains at a high intensity, so we have very little time for our family. Fortunately, our two children are independent, well-behaved and have the support of their grandparents and teammates, so we can confidently carry out our missions,” Lieutenant Colonel Do Anh Tuan shared.

During his duties, Mr. Tuan was often assigned to be in charge of and guide reporters on the plane. For him, every time he flew over the public housing area and the Air Defense - Air Force Academy - where his family lives and has many memories, or when he flew over the training area of the ground formations, where his wife practiced... were special memories. "Although it was very close but could not be touched, I felt very happy and often took pictures of these beautiful moments to keep and share with my wife after each training session," he emotionally recounted.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, Mr. Do Anh Tuan said: “No matter how difficult it is, each of us needs to unite, be of one mind, and complete our tasks well. If everyone knows how to love, share, respect each other and spread good things, the family will always be happy, the organization will be strong, and society will be better.”

Looking forward to the national festival, reliving the heroic spirit of the August Revolution 80 years ago and the National Day September 2, Mr. Tuan shared: “I feel extremely moved and proud when thinking about the verses of author Nguyen Viet Chien: He expressed his belief that: Every Vietnamese person loves the country in his own way, but most importantly, our nation loves peace , we remember and cherish the contributions and sacrifices of many generations of fathers and brothers who have fallen in exchange for peace, independence and freedom for our descendants today. Having a prosperous and happy life is not easy, so we must always unite and be of one mind to build a strong Vietnam, standing shoulder to shoulder with the countries of the five continents as Uncle Ho advised!
