According to the Ambassador, 2025 is also an important milestone in Vietnam-Mozambique relations as the two countries celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
Over the past half century, the traditional friendship and brotherly solidarity between Vietnam and Mozambique have been constantly built and developed by generations of leaders and people of the two countries. Mozambique has always been a close friend and a priority partner of Vietnam in Africa.
The two countries have made steady progress in cooperation in many fields, from politics, diplomacy to economics, telecommunications, agriculture, health and education... Cooperation projects between Vietnam and Mozambique, such as the Movitel joint venture, tripartite agricultural cooperation programs, and the activities of medical experts in Mozambique over the years - are vivid evidence of effective and sustainable cooperation.
The Ambassador was also pleased to announce that on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, Vietnam was honored to welcome the delegation of the Government of Mozambique led by the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and the Mozambican Community Abroad Maria de Fatima Simao Manso, and the delegation of the Mozambique Liberation Front Party led by Secretary General Chakil Aboobacar to visit and work in Vietnam and attend the Celebration Ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City.
