
Due to the influence of cold air combined with high altitude easterly winds, from the night of October 29 to November 1, there was heavy rain in Ha Tinh . Particularly, the southern coastal plains had moderate rain, heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain.
Rainfall from 5:00 p.m. on October 29 to 3:00 p.m. on November 1 was generally between 400mm and 900mm. Of which, at Kim Son reservoir (Ky Lac commune) 967mm; Thuong Song Tri lake (Ky Hoa commune) 916mm, Thuong Tuy lake (Cam Lac commune) 769mm, Mac Khe lake (Ky Anh commune) 661mm, Ke Go lake (Cam Due commune) 585.2mm, Khe Xai lake (Thach Xuan commune) 578mm.
Ke Go Lake water level rose to 32.17/32.5m, reaching 96.17% of design; Song Rac Lake 22.74/23.2m, reaching 94.38% of design; Ngan Truoi Lake 45.623m/52m, reaching 67.99% of design.
The reservoirs operating spillway include: Ke Go reservoir 550 m3 / s; Song Rac reservoir 400 m3 / s; Kim Son reservoir 37 m3 /s; Thuong Song Tri reservoir 100 m3/s; Tau Voi reservoir 10 m3 / s ; Khe Xai reservoir 30 m3/s; Boc Nguyen reservoir 20 m3 /s; Da Han reservoir 85 m3 /s.
Ho Ho Hydropower Plant at spillway regulation at 3:00 p.m. on October 1 with a flow rate of 372 m3 /second.

To proactively respond to heavy rains, localities have evacuated 1,610 households with 3,864 people. Some localities have a large number of evacuated people such as Vung Ang ward with 184 households/484 people; Ky Lac commune with 98 households/143 people; Ky Van commune with 317 households/991 people; Cam Due commune with 790 households/1,395 people; Cam Binh commune with 150 households/600 people.
Heavy rains have flooded 4,292 houses, including 25 households in Ky Anh commune; 500 households in Vung Ang ward; 34 households in Hoanh Son ward; 487 households in Cam Binh commune; 3 households in Ky Khang commune; 2,950 households in Cam Due commune; 227 households in Cam Xuyen commune; 25 households in Huong Pho commune; and 41 households in Huong Do commune.
Heavy rain also caused flooding and landslides on many local traffic routes, such as National Highway 15, National Highway 8C, DT.547, DT.553, DT.554.

The coastal patrol route through Cam Trung commune currently has serious landslides. However, due to heavy rain, large landslide volume and the risk of landslides, it is not possible to fix it yet. The locality has temporarily closed the road to ensure the safety of people and vehicles.
