(Dan Tri) - Bayern Munich completely dominated and won 1-0 against Benfica in the 4th match of the UEFA Champions League group stage in the early morning of November 7.
After two consecutive defeats in the Champions League against Aston Villa on October 3 and Barcelona on October 24, coach Vincent Kompany's team entered the match with determination at home at Allianz Arena against Benfica.
The first half saw Bayern Munich dominate with a series of opportunities but they lacked luck in finishing.

Harry Kane had the clearest chances, but his shots were unable to beat Benfica goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin. The first half ended goalless.
In the second half, Bayern continued to work hard to penetrate the Portuguese team's defense. In the 54th minute, Kane looked for his first chance of the second half with a powerful dribble through the visitors' defense, but the 31-year-old's shot from a tight angle missed the target.
It was not until the 67th minute that the home team Bayern broke the deadlock. After receiving a cross from Leroy Sane, Harry Kane assisted the ball for Jamal Musiala to head the ball into the visitors' net, opening the score.
Conceding a goal, Benfica rushed forward to find an equalizer but they encountered a very focused defense from the "Gray Tigers" which resulted in no more goals. During the entire 90 minutes, the away team only had one shot while Bayern had 24 shots.
Winning by a minimal margin, Bayern Munich earned 3 valuable points and ranked 17th in the UEFA Champions League rankings.
