In the period of 2021-2024, the People's Committee of Tinh Bien Town has been allocated more than 48.29 billion VND of public investment capital to implement projects to support residential land, housing, production land, and domestic water for ethnic minorities and mountainous areas, along with infrastructure investment projects. Specifically, 6 water supply pipelines have been deployed, supporting 134 households with housing, 17 households with residential land and housing; implementing 12 rural traffic works, building new schools, and renovating schools with a total disbursed capital of more than 29.3 billion VND. The People's Committee of Tinh Bien Town also disbursed 7.78 billion VND from public capital for projects under the Program.
Tinh Bien Town People's Committee proposed that the Central Government review and adjust national target programs to suit the characteristics of each region, promptly issue and provide synchronous instructions for effective implementation by localities.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Ethnic Council Nguyen Lam Thanh highly appreciated the results achieved by Tinh Bien Town in the past time. At the same time, he also requested the locality to continue to make efforts and effectively utilize capital sources, mechanisms and policies to effectively implement the program. There are measures to overcome difficulties and obstacles to support local ethnic minorities to access policies from the program to improve their lives.
