Raising awareness of traffic safety for students

On May 26, the Traffic Police Department, Provincial Police coordinated with Ward 3 Police (Tay Ninh City) to organize propaganda on traffic safety laws for students of Tay Ninh Vocational College.

At the propaganda session, Major Cao Thanh Vu - an officer of the Traffic Police Department introduced to more than 500 students and teachers of the school the new regulations of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety and Decree 168/2024/ND-CP regulating administrative sanctions for violations of traffic order and safety in the field of road traffic, deduction of points, restoration of driving license points; propaganda about the traffic accident situation in the past time; common violations of students such as: carrying more people than prescribed, drinking and driving, being underage, not having a driving license...

Tran Quoc Bao, a student of the CCNO09A Automotive Technology College, Tay Ninh Vocational College, said: “When traveling to school, I always try to comply with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety, do not drive in a zigzag manner, and strictly follow the orders of the Traffic Police and traffic lights. Thereby, we join hands to ensure safety for ourselves and other road users.”

Le Thi Bich Ngoc, a student of class 45B accounting, Tay Ninh Vocational College, was very excited to participate in the live propaganda session of the Traffic Police officers. Bich Ngoc shared: “Traffic police are the ones who directly patrol, control, handle traffic violations and accidents. The officers instruct everyone on very specific and practical skills and ways to handle situations when participating in traffic. From there, we can absorb easily and remember longer”.

Students actively participated in answering questions from the traffic police.

The program aims to propagate, disseminate andeducate traffic safety laws, build traffic culture among students, apply knowledge when participating in traffic, contribute to preventing, limiting and minimizing traffic accidents related to students.
