On October 26, millions of viewers turned their attention to studio S14 - Vietnam Television, where the 25th final of the Road to Olympia took place. The competition gathered the four best "climbers": Le Quang Duy Khoa (Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted - Hue), Nguyen Nhat Lam (Cai Be High School, Dong Thap), Doan Thanh Tung (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Khanh Hoa) and Tran Bui Bao Khanh ( Hanoi High School for the Gifted - Amsterdam).
As expected, this year's final was extremely dramatic and evenly matched. The score situation changed continuously through each round, making the audience unable to take their eyes off. After four breathtaking rounds, Tran Bui Bao Khanh excellently won the Laurel Wreath, becoming the new champion in an explosion.
'Den Vau's muse' performs at the final round of Road to Olympia
Amidst the “brain-tense” academic atmosphere, PiaLinh brought an inspiring moment of silence. The singer shared that being trusted by the organizers to perform at the finals, after having participated in the Gala for 25 years, was a “big responsibility”. Appearing in a pure white dress, PiaLinh raised her clear voice to sing the song “My house has a flag hanging” - a composition by the group DTAP.

This was the first time PiaLinh performed this song, and on a live television stage, so she could not hide the pressure. “Honestly, when the studio shouted ‘start’ and the audience applauded, my heart was beating very fast. The show was broadcast live, so what I was most afraid of was making a mistake,” PiaLinh shared. But she said, when the music started, the pride of singing a song honoring the Vietnamese flag and the honor of standing on stage to inspire the younger generation helped her complete the performance excellently.
My House Has a Flag is a song that honors the pride and love of the homeland through the image of the national flag. Pia Linh revealed that to choose this song, the crew and music director "considered many different songs", and finally chose DTAP's composition because "it has the right spirit and atmosphere of a final match". For her, the performance is like a "small gift" to the program and to support the contestants' spirit.
Controversy over the victory of the Road to Olympia 2025 champion
The audience was immediately impressed by PiaLinh's voice and confident demeanor. Many people recognized her as the "muse" Nguyen Hoang Huong Linh, a student at the Foreign Trade University, who once "caused a storm" when she contributed her voice to the hit song Cooking for You by rapper Den Vau in 2023. When asked about the pressure from the title "Den Vau's muse", PiaLinh frankly shared: "I do not consider past milestones as a shadow to overcome, on the contrary, they are a support, a motivation to strengthen the belief that I can do it, I can complete this special stage well".
PiaLinh "reveals" interesting behind-the-scenes
In particular, PiaLinh also shared an interesting memory backstage. While performing, she suddenly saw contestant Duy Khoa ( Hue ) standing behind the podium, "secretly" looking at the stage even though the contestants should have "hidden" her. Pia shared: "At that time, I felt both funny and sympathetic and respectful. I suddenly realized that these were just 17-year-old boys, yet they had to go through an extremely stressful competition... The climbers were so good! If it were me, I probably wouldn't be as brave as them."

Not stopping at a phenomenon, PiaLinh continued to affirm her passion for music when participating in Vietnam Idol 2023 and entering the Top 10 finalists, leaving an impression of a young artist with a civilized mindset. 2025 marked a new step forward for PiaLinh when she joined monoX Label as an exclusive artist. She has consecutively released two products, Stealing the Heart and Blessing .
