Sa Pa has many terraced fields, but Muong Hoa Valley is where visitors can enjoy the spectacular view from above. The terraced fields here are located winding along the hillsides, forming a beautiful tilted pan shape. Muong Hoa Valley with an altitude of 1600 m is located in Hau Thao commune, Muong Hoa, about 6 km from the center of Sa Pa town. The distance to Muong Hoa Valley is not too difficult. Visitors need to overcome a mountain pass with many steep and winding roads, requiring a firm grip on the steering wheel. Muong Hoa Valley is beautiful in every season, each time puts on a different look that captivates people. In the summer, around June and July, when the rice is still growing, the terraced fields are full of life, like a green silk strip blending with the green of the majestic mountains and forests. In the fall, around August and September, the whole valley puts on a golden shirt, the fragrance wafting in the peaceful space. Muong Hoa stream stretches about 15 km, flowing along the winding valley beside the terraced fields, passing through the communes of Lao Chai, Ta Van, Hau Thao... and ending at Ho village as a highlight in the immense space. Flowing into Muong Hoa stream are about 22 small streams originating from the primeval forest, so the stream water is always clear and cool. The beauty of Ban Ho commune seen from above. The road to Ban Ho commune is winding and curving with some dangerous sections, one side is a steep cliff, the other side is a deep abyss.
