Thanh Hoa General Hospital has just organized the program "Elderly Health Care Festival" with the participation of 400 patients, relatives of patients being treated at the hospital and elderly people living in areas near the hospital.
Elderly people attending the program get their blood pressure checked and blood sugar measured for free.
Attending the program, the elderly had their blood pressure and blood sugar checked and received psychological counseling from the hospital's doctors, answered questions about nutrition, common diseases in the elderly such as high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, bone and joint disease, diabetes... as well as advice on disease prevention and treatment methods.
In addition to listening to useful professional knowledge, the elderly attending the program were also guided by Yoga instructors to practice simple Yoga exercises suitable for their age and received attractive gifts from sponsors.
