Opening up trade connections.
At the event, the business networking space (B2B Buyers Meet Sellers) was considered a highlight and one of the largest B2B events in the country. This activity recorded nearly 5,000 business meetings established between Vietnamese and international tourism businesses.
Mr. Feadrizal from MalayViet Co., Ltd. (Malaysia) shared that Malaysians love traveling to Vietnam and are eager to explore new destinations in the country. Recently, Da Nang has become a popular choice among the company's clients.
“At this tourism festival, I want to find partners to connect with and bring tourists to Da Nang, as well as learn about new tourism products, attractive tours and routes, and preferential service packages…,” said Mr. Feadrizal.
According to Mr. Nguyen Son Thuy, Director of Visit Indochina Company, this year's event attracted many partners from different markets, opening up opportunities for business connections for travel companies both domestically and internationally. Most buyers and sellers in the tourism sector were able to establish business connections (Buyers Meet Sellers).

“Our company is trending towards niche markets, such as the Muslim market. In addition to preparing Halal tourism products for Muslim tourists, we are strengthening connections and expanding cooperation, not only with traditional agents in Malaysia and Indonesia, but also targeting the Middle East, Dubai, Türkiye, and other markets,” Mr. Thuy stated.
Besides connecting domestic and international tourism markets, the Da Nang International Tourism Festival is also an opportunity to promote local products.
Ms. Le Thi Hong Nhung, Deputy Head of Sales Department of Triet Minh Co., Ltd. (TRIMICO) located in Cho Lo Industrial Cluster (Chien Dan commune), said that the company's products have been widely promoted, including on domestic e-commerce platforms and are aiming for international platforms.
However, given the scale and scope of the event, the company hopes to directly introduce its products to domestic and international tourism businesses; thereby spreading the products to more markets more effectively.
An opportunity to rise and break through.
According to Mr. Vu The Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, in 2025, the entire industry is striving to implement Resolution No. 226/NQ-CP dated August 5, 2025, of the Government with the goal of welcoming 25 million international tourists. In response to this spirit, the Vietnam Tourism Association has launched a series of practical action programs for local tourism associations.

The Da Nang International Tourism Festival 2025 is a significant highlight, demonstrating the determination, creativity, and unity of the Vietnamese tourism business community in general and Da Nang in particular.
“This is also an important event in the strategy of promoting the destination and elevating the tourism brand of Da Nang city. We welcomed 120 delegations from foreign tourism businesses to participate and work with us. Only by bringing foreign businesses here to interact and connect with Vietnamese businesses can we achieve the fastest possible growth in tourist numbers,” Mr. Binh said.
According to Mr. Binh, Da Nang is one of the fastest-developing tourism cities in the country. Previously, Da Nang wasn't the locality attracting the most international tourists, but with its strong growth rate and continuous introduction of new tourism products and activities, Da Nang's tourism will increasingly attract more international visitors.
Da Nang serves as a distribution point for tourists throughout the Central region, and also connects Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. This central position attracts tourists from various regions and spreads them to other areas; therefore, sooner or later, Da Nang will become a leading center for international tourists in Vietnam.

According to Tan Van Vuong, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the second Da Nang International Tourism Festival in 2025 is a crucial event in the city's strategy to promote the destination and elevate its tourism brand. This is not just a simple promotional event, but also a meeting point for Da Nang to affirm its position as a regional tourism, conference, and event center.
“The festival also creates a long-term cooperation network between Da Nang businesses and travel agencies, hotels, and event organizers from many countries. This is an important foundation for building sustainable relationships, sharing customer resources, jointly exploring new markets, and working towards sustainable tourism development,” Mr. Vuong said.
On the morning of October 16th, at the Ariyana International Convention Center in Da Nang, the Da Nang International Tourism Festival 2025 officially opened. The event was chaired by the Da Nang Tourism Association and organized in collaboration with HorecFex Vietnam.
This year's event attracted over 400 sellers and 120 international buyers from key markets: Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, China, Japan, Russia, India, CIS countries, Western Europe, and over 180 domestic travel companies, along with nearly 2,000 attendees representing travel companies, hotels, restaurants, service providers, and tour guides.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, thematic workshops and in-depth discussions on strategies for attracting tourists and developing new tourism products took place enthusiastically.
On October 17th, the festival will continue with two key events: the seminar "Strategies for Attracting the Russian and CIS Markets in 2026"; and "Orientation for the Development of Da Nang Tourism in the New Period".
