Voluntary blood donation festival in Tay Ninh Hoa commune

On October 26, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Khanh Hoa province and the Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with the People's Committee of Tay Ninh Hoa commune to organize the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival.

With the theme “Every drop of blood given - A life saved”, the festival attracted nearly 150 cadres, civil servants, union members, youth and people in the commune to participate. The amount of donated blood collected was 135 units, exceeding the planned amount by 35 units.

People of Tay Ninh Hoa commune participate in voluntary blood donation

Previously, on October 25, nearly 150 officers, lecturers, union members and students of Nha Trang College of Tourism also participated in the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival with the amount of donated blood collected reaching 124 units.

It is known that since the beginning of the year, the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation, the Provincial Red Cross, and the Khanh Hoa Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center have coordinated with relevant units to organize 152 voluntary blood donation campaigns, mobilizing more than 26,800 participants. As a result, the amount of donated blood collected was more than 24,650 units, reaching more than 72% of the target.
