SURF 2025 includes main contents such as: Final round of the innovation startup competition; meeting between City leaders with experts, speakers, investors and the startup community; innovation startup exhibition; launching the innovation network of universities and colleges.
At the event, StartupBlink awarded the certificate of "Fastest Growing Ecosystem in Vietnam" to Da Nang City. In addition, there were activities to interact with domestic and international experts, a discussion on Da Nang - a blockchain unicorn launch pad; a forum connecting international investment and innovation with the theme "Blockchain and digital assets: Innovation in urban digital transformation and digital economic development in Da Nang".
Through these activities, we aim to arouse a strong entrepreneurial spirit, encourage innovation in the community, especially among young people and businesses. At the same time, we affirm the image of Da Nang as an attractive destination for investors, a dynamic innovation and startup center of the country and Southeast Asia.

Mr. Ho Quang Buu, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, said that the locality has clearly identified innovation and science and technology as the core driving force for rapid and sustainable growth.
Specifically, Da Nang has been synchronously implementing many mechanisms, policies and specific actions to develop a creative startup ecosystem, from tax exemptions for startups to supporting co-working spaces, technology incubators, connecting investors, and supporting new product testing. The city is also building research and innovation centers, high-tech zones, and Da Nang innovation spaces.
Mr. Ho Quang Buu informed that the network of organizations supporting startups in Da Nang is increasingly expanding and operating effectively. In particular, the city is promoting the establishment of a Free Trade Zone and an International Financial Center to attract legal services, accounting, auditing, financial technology and domestic and foreign venture capital, creating the most favorable conditions for startups to develop.
According to the Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee, in 2025, Da Nang will be among the top 1,000 cities with outstanding global startup ecosystems for the first time, according to StartupBlink. This is a recognition of the city's right direction and strategic vision.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Hoang Minh affirmed that Da Nang has recently taken appropriate steps and achieved many positive results, forming and strongly developing a creative startup ecosystem.
"In the coming time, the city needs to continue supporting the development of components in the ecosystem, strongly connecting with the national and international creative startup ecosystem, effectively implementing specific policy mechanisms according to Resolution 136/2024/QH15 to develop Da Nang into a modern economic and urban center of the region," Mr. Hoang Minh suggested.
