"The atmosphere of celebrating National Day September 2 that year brought me a lot of happiness. Since the independence and national sovereignty of the nation, the literary and artistic world has welcomed the bright sunlight, we artists are no longer called "actresses, actors" like in the old days. I am very honored and proud to be among the artists who are loved by the audience and I believe that today's young generation will inherit and keep the flame of patriotism of the nation" - People's Artist Ngoc Giau emotionally said.

For her, Independence Day September 2nd is the birth day of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and to have the foundation as it is today, our country had to try to change every day, every hour so that Vietnam's position in the international arena is much different from the past.

"My father was very poor at that time, he drove a truck to make compost under the scorching sun. I vowed in my heart that when I grew up, I would do everything I could to live a good life and become a useful person for my family. When my father passed away when he was over 100 years old, he said, 'You are loved by your relatives and friends for your singing voice, so you must try to maintain it and not let them down, my child'" - She recounted and considered her father's advice as a guiding principle to be worthy of being an artist of a free and independent nation.

As a famous singer from the river delta region of the West, People's Artist Trong Huu has left a beautiful memory in his artistic life, which is receiving the title of People's Artist during the days when the whole country celebrated National Day September 2, 2015.

"That year, in the bustling atmosphere of the great national holiday, out of sacred pride, I engraved in my heart the smiles of colleagues, close friends and wishes from artists from all regions converging in the capital. Those moments will forever live in my heart, and I expressed my passionate feelings through the roles and lyrics in new compositions about the country and people of Vietnam" - People's Artist Trong Huu said.

This year, to mark new impressions in his artistic life on National Day September 2, People's Artist Trong Huu performed a number of traditional songs in a new MV with the theme "The Country is Full of Joy", including many traditional song compositions by young composers.

"I am glad that many young composers have written about the nation's Independence Day. They have a new perspective that creates a positive effect for the young generation to work together to preserve the country and build a better community life. From the flame of patriotism, from the spirit of National Day September 2, today's youth has spread positive things in the work of building and protecting the Fatherland" - People's Artist Trong Huu expressed.

People's Artist Thanh Vy: Continuing the goal of passing on the profession to the younger generation

She was the youngest member at that time of the Southern Opera Troupe in the North. She had been to President Ho Chi Minh's Palace many times to perform for visiting and working diplomatic delegations, and more importantly, had attended many meetings to celebrate National Day September 2 in the capital Hanoi.

She recalled her memorable roles, including the role of Nàng Xê Đa (play of the same name) in which she performed over 1,000 performances with the script of the late director, Meritorious Artist Doan Ba. "Today, this play has been creatively recreated by the younger generation, with a new script by director, Meritorious Artist Hoa Ha, invested in by the Dai Viet New Cai Luong Stage and voted for the Mai Vang Award by readers of the Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper. I am very happy because there is a young generation with enough prestige to inherit our generation of artists" - People's Artist Thanh Vy expressed her joy.

She also said that on the occasion of National Day September 2, the artists of the Southern Opera Troupe collaborated to make a documentary about the teachers who guided and supported her generation to the profession. They were all masters trained in the socialist countries in Eastern Europe. They had passionate patriotic hearts and always promoted the sacred meaning of National Day September 2 so that she and her colleagues had the motivation to compose and perform.
