On June 1, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Minh Nhut, Head of the Criminal Police Department - Binh Duong Provincial Police, said that regarding the suspected dismemberment case discovered in Tan Uyen City, authorities determined that the victim was an adult male, about 1.68 - 1.7 m tall, who died between May 10 and the time of discovery.
Up to this point, there have been no clues about the victim’s identity. However, it is worth noting that after the images of the burned legs and arms in the bag were released, public opinion assumed that these were body parts of two people. Because, according to the images, the legs were slender, while the arms were more muscular.

Regarding this issue, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Minh Nhut said that the burned hands and feet belonged to one person. Because, during the DNA testing process, the professional unit took samples from both hands and feet.
According to the Head of the Criminal Police Department - Binh Duong Provincial Police, up to this point, the provincial police have received more than 40 reports from people about relatives who have lost contact, but mainly reports of missing people and all are still alive.
"We hope that social networks will share information widely to quickly identify the victim's identity. Especially for families with children working in the South, if you have not been in contact for a long time, please call and ask. If you cannot contact them, please report to the police," Lieutenant Colonel Nhut emphasized.
The Investigation Agency of Binh Duong Province Police calls on people to continue reporting if any relatives are missing so that the authorities have clues to track down the identity of the victim suspected of dismemberment mentioned above.
