In particular, a statue of Uncle Ho will be brought into the Temple, as if he were returning to his children who had not yet returned, along with hundreds of candles in the deep forest.
Uncle Ho's statue returns and a touching night of gratitude
The series of events took place at the Truong Son Martyrs Memorial Temple in Ca Roong - ATP, organized by Nong Thon Viet Magazine in coordination with the Quang Tri Border Guard Command and Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union.
The statue of Uncle Ho brought to the Temple on the evening of July 26 was restored from a photo of Uncle Ho in 1959, when he and the Politburo decided to open the Truong Son road.
Right after the statue procession, the program "Singing for those who lie in the middle of the forest" with revolutionary songs such as "Uncle is marching with us", "On the top of Truong Son we sing", "Color of red flowers" performed by artists Trang Dung, Sim Nong, Le Manh Cuong, will blend into the quiet space between the deep forest, candlelight and sincerity.

Welcoming the souls of martyrs from Laos back to their homeland
On July 27, 2025, the procession of the souls of martyrs who sacrificed their lives at key locations in Laos - those who remained in the deep forests, without graves or relatives - was welcomed to rest at the Truong Son Martyrs Memorial Temple, Ca Roong - ATP Road 20 Quyet Thang.
This is a rare and unprecedented ceremony, also a special activity of the Truong Son Martyrs Memorial Temple in Ca Roong - ATP Road 20 Quyet Thang - a resting place for all the souls of martyrs whose names have never been engraved or remembered in any grave, cemetery or temple...

Where Truong Son memories settle
The Ca Roong - ATP Truong Son Martyrs Memorial Temple was inaugurated on July 24, 2022, after more than 3 years of construction. This is a project built from the heart of those who survived the war, mobilized by Nong Thon Viet Magazine, with sponsorship from Mr. Duong Cong Minh - former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lien Viet Post Bank and Lien Viet Post Bank. The project was assigned by the former Quang Binh Provincial Government to the Provincial Youth Union for management and operation.

Unlike other cemeteries where martyrs' remains are gathered from all over, this temple was built in the very place that used to be the "dead zone" on both the East and West Truong Son mountains, only 1km away from the border marker as the crow flies - there are no names of any martyrs, no graves, no plaques of merit, but it is a resting place for all the souls of martyrs who sacrificed on Route 20 Quyet Thang, especially at places like A-shaped crab, Ta Le tunnel, Pu-la-nhich pass, Ca Toc, Lum Bum... currently in the territory of the neighboring country.
